NETGEAR, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of quality networking products. We are currently expanding our Marketing Analytics team and looking for a Marketing Analyst for our Small/Medium Business Product Division (SMB).
General Summary:
The SMB Marketing Analyst is responsible for analyzing market trends, market share, and pricing for NETGEAR's various Small, Medium Business Product Lines. Duties will include frequent interactions with major market research firms on data and trends, frequently summarizing NETGEAR's market share positions and competitive pricing for multiple product lines, and analyzing market data to construct concise recommendations for the Product Marketing Department. This position provides a unique opportunity to interact with senior management and act as a trusted resource for them. Additionally, the SMB Analyst acts as a program manager during certain product lifecycle activities.
Position Requirements
- 5 years of experience in analyzing market trend and pricing data for a high-technology business spanning multiple geographies and product lines. Duties will include noticing anomalies present in the data and providing innovative solutions to correct such issues.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, sorts, formulae)
- High analytical capacity and attention to detail, including the ability to process large quantities of data at once, and the ability to generate brief summaries from complex market research reports.
- Ability to interface with decision makers across worldwide sales, marketing, and finance and produce crisp periodic market trend reports and PowerPoint presentations for their reference.
- BS Degree required, MS or MBA preferred
