SMB Training Manager
Title: SMB Training Manager
NETGEAR is looking for an energetic and seasoned Training professional with passion for the Networking, Storage, and Security industry. Ideal candidates have experience working in a dynamic environment and rapidly-growing marketplace and understand the ins and outs of two tier reseller IT industry.
Responsibilities:
The SMB Training Manager will concentrate efforts on education of our partners, sales reps, technical engineers and end users. This position will be responsible for all the webinars, in person trainings, collateral, testing, etc. This position will be required to travel 2-3 times per month.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Managed and facilitated all end user, reseller, and partner trainings on the NETGEAR family of SMB products.
- Training sales reps and support personnel at major accounts like CDW
- Provide training for all our key distributors.
- Develop key strategic relationships within these accounts
- Manage our 3rd party training portal to increase awareness and understanding of NETGEAR products.
- Be a key contributor of the US Channel Sales team fostering a positive, achievement-oriented environment, while supporting and maintaining the company’s culture and reputation of integrity
Special Requirements
- Proven track record of managing training events
- Must have prior public speaking experience
- Must be an expert on PPT and Webinars
- Ability to establish and accomplish goals with limited direct supervision
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with a wide range of personalities
- Excellent organizational skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and teamwork skills
- A fluid understanding of the sales and channel sales process
- Must be capable of independently presenting NETGEAR solutions to current and
Education:
College degree preferred. BS/BA in Business or related field/work experience.
Expiernce:
5 years in sales, marketing or comparable experience. Candidate must have experience on training the IT channel in prior roles.
Location:
This job is based in San Jose, California at the NETGEAR WW Headquarters.
