The NETGEAR Booth Tour (01/10/2007 2:00 PM)
Sure there may be 140,000 people here at CES, but oh-so-many of you aren’t here. You’re probably a better rested than we are, but you’re missing all the fun. So I arrived at the booth an hour before opening to get you a virtual walk-thru of 3000 square feet, showcasing dozens of Netgear products.
Connectivity Zone
Over on the left, we have the Connectivity Zone. This area features all sorts of home networking products, such as cable/dsl modems, routers, powerline adapters, and wireless cards.
Ask the Expert
Slightly behind the Connectivity Zone, we find the Ask the Experts office space. This is the place to get answers to your networking questions. What’s the range of Wireless-N? How does Powerline networking compared to wireless? How would I use a Skype phone? What video formats are supported by the Digital Entertainer HD? Get all your answers here!
Innovation Home
Over to the right, we have the Innovation Home. Here you’ll encounter digital lifestyle products such as wireless Skype phones, network storage, and the new Digital Entertainer HD.
The Living Room
As part of the Innovation Home, feel free to take a seat (if you can find your way through the crowd) in our living room and spend some time with Best of CES finalist Digital Entertainer HD.
