Embedded With Netgear @ CES (01/11/2007 4:00 PM)

I’m probably somewhat biased at this point, but I think Netgear put on a great show at CES. Their comedy act was a hit, and more importantly the new products were well received. Particularly impressive was the Digital Entertainer HD being nominated by CNET for Best of Show and receiving great coverage on the web. The team also put on a great show well beyond Vegas, with all kinds of exclusive CES web content consisting of audio and video pocasts, plus a live video feed from the floor.

Being embedded with NETGEAR the last six days has been a great experience. I’m sure prior to CES we were both a bit apprehensive about what we had just agreed to with this blind-date blogging experiment, but I can tell you I had a blast doing Vegas! They’re a generous, hard-working, and talented team that fully embraced me and the blogosphere. It was an honor to work with them this week and I plan to keep a close eye on what my new Netgear friends are up to.
