You will need a smartphone connected to the internet
  • Download NETGEAR Insight app (Android or iOS)
  • Launch the app and follow instructions to use an existing account or set up a new account
  • Select “Register any NETGEAR device” in the hamburger menu*

*All NETGEAR devices can be registered with the Insight app, but only devices labeled as Insight Manageable can be remotely managed and monitored using the Insight mobile app and Insight Cloud portal.

You will need a browser connection to the internet and your product’s serial number
  • Go to MyNETGEAR and follow the instructions to use an existing account or set up a new account to register your product

You will need an internet browser, Insight Premium or Insight Pro subscription, and your product’s serial number
  • Go to www.insight.netgear.com and log in to your account
  • Select “Register any NETGEAR device” in the account settings menu, and follow instructions to register a new product*

You will need a managed switch connected to a LAN with internet access
  • Connect device to LAN and power on
  • Connect PC with browser to the same subnet
  • Determine the IP address that was assigned to the device
  • Open a browser and enter the device’s IP address in the form of XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX
  • Follow the instructions from the user interface

**Requires the switch to be connected to the internet through your local network. Not available on Unmanaged switches.
