With extensive experience in networking, professional audiovisual and channel distribution, I'm currently the Sr Director of Product Line Management for Managed Switches at NETGEAR. In that global role, I'm responsible for product portfolio management and international business development. At NETGEAR I also lead the Pro-AV Engineering Services team (come to us at ProAVDesign@netgear.com) who offers design, installation, and technical support to AV customers, manufacturers, system integrators and consultants around the world. Last but not least, I'm an active member of the board of directors of the SDVoE Alliance (Software Defined Video over Ethernet), a nonprofit consortium of technology providers collaborating to standardize the adoption of Ethernet to transport AV signals in professional AV environments. By facilitating the transition of HDMI transport from HDBase-T circuit switching to Ethernet packet switching for AV distribution, NETGEAR has become the clear worldwide leader in Pro-AV networking.
