If you are having trouble installing your NETGEAR router with the Nighthawk app, reboot your modem and try again:

- After your modem reboots, connect your modem to the Internet port of your router with an Ethernet cable.
- Try installing your NETGEAR router with the Nighthawk app again.
If you are still unable to install your NETGEAR router with the Nighthawk app, you can manually install it using the router web interface:

The router WiFi network name and password are located on the router sticker.
- Launch a web browser and visit http://routerlogin.net.
The router web interface displays.
